This special World War I commemoration is a celebration of Franco-American amity. Mixing jazz and classical music, it features an internationally renowned cast of American composer Patrick Zimmerli, French choir Mikrocosmos, American singer Scott Emerson (who has sung everything from Rossini to Sweeney Todd), and young French piano star Thomas Enhco. Conceived by French director Mirabelle Ordinaire, the music is based on the poems of American poet and war hero Alan Seeger.
