Curtis alumni hold principal chairs in every major American orchestra, and are featured as guest soloists with the world’s leading orchestras, opera houses, and chamber music series.
Allen Boxer, the fourth recipient of the Arts Arena Curtis Institute of Music Award for excellence in performance, has sung to acclaim such roles as Masetto (Don Giovanni), Angelotti (Tosca), Baron Douphol (La traviata), Vicomte Cascada (Die Lustige Witwe), or the Physician (Pelléas et Mélisande) in opera houses in both the United States and Europe.
