Kim Benzel, who holds a PhD in Art History and Archeology from Columbia University, is Curator in Charge of the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has contributed to several exhibitions and written numerous articles on Ancient Near Eastern Art.
